Hey there! I'm so glad you're here.
My name is Sarah, and my favorite thing in the world is capturing people! Photography has always been a passion project for me, whether I was in school or teaching, my camera came with me everywhere I went on my free time. After five years of teaching kindergarten, I had my first child and gosh did it go by fast! I never wanted to make the mistake of missing any of it, as I saw firsthand how quickly a season can pass and how important it is to document it. Today, I swap lesson plans for a camera to capture the honest, unscripted connection and love between the people you love most. Whether I'm out hiking with my family or scouting new locations with my kids, I'm dedicated to making sure your family's story is told with intention and care. Where are you based?
I'm based in the South Metro of the Twin Cities, I am always happy to travel to your favorite park, your home or a meaningful local spot within the metro area for your session!
How would you describe your photography style?
My style is warm, natural, and focused on storytelling. Instead of forced, stiff posing, I focus on capturing real connection and the actual personality of your family. I love utilizing natural light and the beauty of the outdoors to compliment our session, delivering true-to-life images that feel completely like you.
How many photos will we receive, and delivered?
Because every session is unique, the exact number depends on the package you choose. You will receive a fully edited, high-resolution digital gallery showcasing the absolute best images from our time together, with no hidden fees to unlock your photos.
How far in advance should we book you?
For family sessions, 2 to 4 weeks out is ideal to secure a preferred date, though I can often accommodate shorter notice!
For weddings, couples typically book 6 to 12 months in advance. However, if you're planning a last-minute celebration and my calendar is open, I'd love to make it work!
Do you offer custom packages?
Absolutely! While I offer a clear menu of package options, every family and love story is unique. I am always happy to tailor a custom package that fits your specific needs and vision perfectly.
Do you offer engagement or pre-wedding shoots?
Yes! Engagement sessions are a beautiful way to get comfortable in front of the camera and capture your love story before the big day. They can absolutely be booked on their own, and I also include a complimentary engagement session in a select few of my wedding photography packages.
